The Arc of Wake County announced that its Board of Directors has elected Pamela Wimbush, Laurence Gould, Jennifer Pfaltzgraff, Deidra Jones, and Nancy Pearce as new members of the Board. These directors will fill the terms ending in 2010.

"We're pleased to welcome our new members to the Arc and believe that the experience they bring will further broaden the services The Arc will offer to our member and the disability community," said Timothy S. Blair, chairman of the Arc of Wake County. "We also welcome Helen LeBlond back for another term on the board."

Wimbush serves as vice-president of business development for First Charter Bank; Gould is a real estate attorney with Kilpatrick Stockton; Pfaltzgraff, graphic designer, owns her own business, pfotographics; Jones is a paralegal with Womble, Carlyle, Sandridge & Rice, and Pearce is a senior housing development analyst with North Carolina Housing Finance Agency.
